Work

Working for Microchip, my duties currently include the operation of machines and computer software involved in front-end production of microchips according to provided specifications, and training new employees for various production tasks.

Personal

An atheist and an ex-Evangelical Christian, I have very strong opinions and convictions regarding the importance of holding a strong understanding of why one believes what they do. I spend a considerable amount of time reading educational and nonfiction books in topics from history and paleobiology to politics and philosophy.

Politically, I am plainly on the left, even within the international standard that places most of the American left in the center or on the moderate right. Workers’ rights(including sex workers’ rights), the housing crisis, the availability of social welfare programs, and the separation of church and state are currently the most important issues to me in American society.

I live with my nesting partner Melanie, and our dog Charlie Brown. My hobbies include reading, studying, listening to music, and gaming.
